“With 25 years of experience working with children, Rachel's journey began with studying child psychology at the University of Wales, Swansea, followed by a postgraduate degree in Education at Oxford Brookes University. Her passion for integrating the ‘heart and mind’ blossomed during this time and has continued to be honed throughout her career. After teaching elementary school in Oxford, she became head of a pre-school in London, emphasising the importance of the learning process and experiences over the final product.
Rachel, as a trained Musikgarten teacher, joined the team at Northridge Pre-school for 8 years, where she enjoyed inspiring and helping train teachers. Later, she opened her art studio, infusing the playful spirit of the pre-school into adult events and coaching art students for Booker T. Washington High School. Her stitched and watercolor creations, reflecting hope and empowerment, subtly adorn the walls.”
