About Me…

Based in Dallas, Texas, with roots tracing back to England, I am a mixed media artist, educator and mother of three. My artistic journey began during my first pregnancy, when I discovered a passion for sewing that has since blossomed into my creative practice: Rachel Larlee Creates. My work often features intricate florals inspired by the vintage cups and saucers I collect, blending my love for stitching with personal and cultural narratives.

As an artist, I am deeply passionate about the therapeutic and meditative aspects of stitching. With a background in early childhood education, I bring a unique perspective to my work, helping adults explore the healing power of art. Art has been a transformative force in my life, providing a means to process grief, emotions, and challenging experiences. Through my work, I coach others to discover their own creative expression and healing journey.

My hope is that each piece I create becomes more than just art for those who bring it into their homes. I aim for my work to inspire, comfort, and motivate, speaking to the deepest parts of the soul and encouraging personal reflection and connection.
