I am a Dallas-based mixed media artist, originally from Devon, England, creating work that sits at the intersection of memory, place, and process. Through watercolor, stitching, and layered textiles, I explore the quiet tension between softness and strength, chaos and order, inheritance and becoming — creating pieces that invite reflection, connection, and a deeper sense of home.

Prayerful Layers: A Contemplative Mixed Media Retreat
Come and join Rachel as she helps us connect our art and faith through a mixed-media art retreat.
In this retreat we’re using paper, paint, stitching, and collage to explore the spiritual layers of our lives, reflecting on our story and longing through these visual prayers.
Come listen, breathe, and create with intention. No experience required.
Saturday, April 18th from 10am - 12pm.
Featured Art Work
Stronger Together
Stronger Together is a linocut print inspired by the Jesuit Crew Team on White Rock Lake, including my son, as they return to the boathouse after practice. This piece reflects the quiet strength of teamwork — the way individual effort, discipline, and trust come together to create something larger than one person alone. Through the bold contrasts and carved simplicity of lino printing, I wanted to capture both the stillness of the lake and the sense of shared purpose held within the boat.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of this print will go toward supporting the Jesuit Crew Team.
Let the Ground Rest
Let the Ground Rest reflects my belief that when we allow space—when we resist the urge to intervene—what feels fleeting and fluid can settle into layered complexity. The vertical stitched lines suggest gravity, roots, rainfall, and time passing, grounding the movement beneath them.
This work is an invitation to pause. To breathe. To trust that growth and healing often happen beneath the surface, quietly and slowly, when the ground is allowed to rest.
